You can leave additional notes in your account after checkout, by contacting us, or by providing instructions during your cleaning.The following extra services are available if selected at checkout: basement, hand-wiping baseboard, Inside the fridge, inside the oven, inside window glass, web wipe window blinds, inside cabinets, one load of laundry, change sheets, deep cleaning, or move-in cleaning.
Note: To protect the safety of our professionals, we cannot perform the following: cleaning that requires climbing more than two-step ladders, exterior windows, mold removal, deep stain removal, insect and pest removal, cleaning pet messes, cleaning blinds, grout cleaning, and items that require heavy lifting.
One time vs. recurring cleanings
Fresh Tech Maid specializes in weekly, bi-weekly (every two weeks), or monthly cleaning at a discounted rate. These cleanings are automatically scheduled on the same day and time based on the interval you select. We send a reminder email and text message to let you know of upcoming cleanings. Our reminder is just a reminder. Please do put these repeat cleaning time into your calendar. At any time you can log into your account to reschedule service.
You can schedule one-off cleanings at any time. Please note discounts are available for recurring cleaning only. With recurring cleaning, you benefit from convenient recurring service and you are more likely to have the same cleaning professional.
Fresh Tech Maid offers move in cleanings as an extra priced service to reflect the extra time needed for hand-wiping baseboard, inside the fridge, inside the oven, inside window glass, wet wipe window blinds, inside cabinets. Please note that your cleaning professional is unable to move heavy furniture or climb more than two step ladders, as per our safety policy.
Move-out Cleanings and Post Construction Cleanings
Fresh Tech Maid offers move-out and post construction cleanings based on hourly charge, because the scope of these cleanings are uncertain. Dust resettlement is common in post construction cleaning. We often have to clean repeatedly to remove dust resettlement or even conduct multiple cleanings.
How Does Payment Work?
Fresh Tech Maid only accepts credit/debit card payment for service, however your card is not charged until after service is completed. Please note that on the day before service a pre-authorization hold is made to your card. This is just a hold even though some banks may show this as a charge. What Supplies Do We Use?
Fresh Tech Maid certified cleaning technicians are equipped with safe, family and pet friendly supplies at no extra charge to you. We highly recommend that our technician to use your vacuum to reduce the likelihood of cross contamination. In addition, please specify where your two step ladder is located at your home, if you want our cleaning technician to use ladder for your cleaning. Please let us know if you would like to provide your own special supplies by adding a note to your account after you book.
Fresh Tech Maid specialize in chemical free house cleaning which is cleaner, healthier, and safer for your family and pets. For repeat services, we often can eliminate your exposure to harmful chemicals by at least 95%. In the meantime, cleaning quality is enhanced instead of compromised due to chemical free cleaning.
Is Chemical-Free Cleaning the Same as Green Cleaning?
They are different. Green cleaning is chemical-based cleaning with friendlier chemicals. Chemical-free cleaning minimizes chemical use and reduces cleaning chemicals by 95% to 100% for regular cleaning.
The 3 Key Advantages of Chemical-free Cleaning vs. green cleaning are:
- No Airborne Toxins – safer cleaning. All cleaning chemicals, including green cleaning chemicals, have chemical reactions with soils on the surface to be cleaned. The chemical reaction helps detach the soils from the surface, but it also creates airborne toxins. Chemical-free home cleaning does not use chemical reaction as the mechanism for detaching surface soils. Thus, no airborne toxins are emitted.
- No Chemical Residues – healthier cleaning. Chemical-based cleaning leaves visible and invisible chemical residues on surfaces. Why Is There a Two Hour Window?
Our two hour window allows us to handle the unpredictability of cleaning services. Homes are different sizes and require different levels of effort needed to make them clean. So predicting the time spent at a home is incredibly difficult. In addition, we have to deal with other unpredictable factors like traffic, weather etc. Thanks so much for understanding.
What Will It Cost?
Our pricing is based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. Simply go to our booking page and enter this information and you will your price. Our online pricing engine is based average cleanliness of a typical home. If your home’s condition is unique, we will contact you and inform you the adjustment we need to complete the cleaning.
Why Do Prices Vary With Maid Services?
There is a common practice in our industry to offer “super low” prices and then, fail to deliver. Many maids in our industry are poorly trained, do not understand client service, can’t even speak English, clean with harsh chemicals, are illegal immigrants, are not full covered by insurance, or are contractors that expose clients for substantial tax and other financial risks. We advise all potential clients to stay away from these “super low” prices which are designed to get-the-job. Look for companies who focus on sustained get-the-job-done-right.
Discounting for Weekly, Bi-Weekly and Monthly Services?
We offer discounted prices for recurring cleanings vs one time cleanings. In addition, we also offer discount for initial cleanings. We charge the same price for initial cleaning and recurring cleaning, even though initial cleaning require longer cleaning time.
Your Tipping Policy?
We encourage clients to tip for great service. We also want to share with you about tipping statistics. Less than 10% of most clients tip regularly. In Nov and Dec, more than 80% of our clients tipped.
Am I Potentially Liable for Worker’s Compensation Insurance or Taxes?
No. Fresh Tech Maid Services takes care of this for you by never hiring independent contractors. We only use our own employees who are covered by our Worker’s Compensation Insurance.
We provide solo technician cleaning. We actually started with team cleaning and decided to change to solo cleaning to better serve our clients. Why does solo cleaning mean better service?
- The Technician You Know and Trust: All our certified cleaning technicians have passed a rigid screening & hiring process because we never take chances with “marginal” employees like others do. We know that our foundation between you and Fresh Tech Maids is trust. Every day, we work our hardest to earn your trust!
- Not in a Hurry and It Shows: A solo technician only cleans two homes per day. She is not in a hurry. We invest our most precious resource, time, in every home, every day. Solo technician also ensures greater ownership, personal attention and accountability for the quality and care of our cleaning.
- On Time Arrival: a solo technician will arrive on time, as she only cleans two homes a day. A team needs to travel 4 to 7 homes per day and more likely to be late due to the uncertainty of much longer travel.

Fresh Tech Maid cannot guarantee the results of mini-blind, grout, chandelier, or vaulted ceiling fan cleaning. Mold remediation is a specialty. Fresh Tech Maid does not provide mold remediation and cannot be liable for any mold-related risks in client’s homes. Fresh Tech Maid does not assume responsibility for the restoration of severely worn, stained, or mildewed caulking and grout.
FTM request all irreplaceable items (whether monetarily or sentimentally valued) be stored and/or not cleaned by our staff. FTM is not responsible for the breakage of these irreplaceable items if not informed. FTM is not responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of any item. All surfaces (i.e., marble, granite, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without causing harm. FTM is not responsible for damage due to improperly sealed surfaces. All legs of chairs and light tables are assumed protected and ready to be slid without scratching hardwood floors. FTM will not be responsible for scratches from legs of chairs and tables. If we are specifically requested to clean inside of a hutch/china cabinet, dust any computer equipment or wash dishes or wine glasses, the client agrees not to hold FTM or any of its employees responsible for damage to any article or component.
